Our take
I grabbed this Halo XL Hy-Wood demo and it's been a revelation. The 17° loft replaces my 3-wood easily, launching high and far. The Aldila Ascent shaft feels stable and smooth. Being a demo, there are a few minor cosmetic marks but nothing affecting performance. My only complaint is no headcover, but at this price, it's still a steal.
