About this product
The Cleveland CGJ Youth Fairway Driver is a right-handed club with a 22° loft, a lite weight graphite shaft, and a 28.5-inch length. Designed for kids, it features a mallet head shape and is part of the CGJ junior series. At $19.99, it's an affordable entry-level fairway wood for young golfers learning the game.
Our take
My junior golfer needed a fairway wood, and this Cleveland CGJ at $19.99 was a steal. The 28.5-inch length fits my child well, and the lightweight graphite shaft makes it easy to swing. The 22° loft helps get the ball airborne. The mallet head is forgiving. It's clearly a youth club, so don't expect adult-level performance. The head shape is a bit unusual for a fairway wood (mallet like a putter), but it works. Great starter club for the price.
